Welcome to the Greater Richburg Association
Richburg, South Carolina
The Greater Richburg Association is a private, non-profit organization
whose major goal is to improve the quality of life in the Richburg, South Carolina area, while beautifying the Richburg area to help attract industrial and residential growth.
Richburg South Carolina is located midway between the metropolitan cities of Charlotte, North Carolina and South Carolina's capital city of Columbia. Being located at the interchange of Exit 65 and
SC Highway 9, makes this the Gateway to Chester County, an area poised for rapid and successful growth.
The Greater Richburg Association works to promote the economic, environmental, and social well-being of the five-mile radius surrounding Exit 65 off I-77.

Our residents are proud of our tranquil rural setting and "down home" feel. Being only minutes away from a metropolitan area, we can proudly note that cultural, historical, and recreational opportunities abound, ensuring a rich and varied lifestyle while still retaining the flavor of the "old rural South".
We enjoy an abundance of natural resources, a warm year round climate, and public safety, fire, EMS, and police departments that support our high quality of life.

Wide open spaces abound and many residents still keep horses or maintain farms while sharing space with small businesses and cutting edge technologies or industries.
The Greater Richburg community has an unlimited potential as we enter a new and exciting time in our changing development. People of all ages can find a lot to appreciate in our area. It is a great place to raise a family or to retire. It is truly a place where families can live and grow.
Presently, the Greater Richburg Association is deeply involved in a Solar Lighting Project at Exit 65 and Highway 9 to install more lighting at the exit ramps. We also raise money for a Scholarship Fund in the Spring, quarterly Blood Drives, and we co-sponsor a Fall Festival with the Town of Richburg on the 4th Saturday of October each year.
Come and see how the people of the Greater Richburg Area are working together for a better place to visit, to work, to live.
